The Bank of Eagle toy bank (a) shaped like a book with a lock and paper cover (b) from Eagle, Idaho. Embossed on front in gold text "The Bank of Eagle, Est. 1907, Eagle, Idaho" with "Whatever You Earn Spend Less" underneath. Text on spine reads "Book of Thrift, VIII." On the back is a large dollar sign as the first letter in the logo "Systematic Saving Spells Successes." Text on front of the cover (b): "Thrift Pays Dividends." The bottom label reads "Bankers Utilties Co. San Fransisco U.S.A Patented July,3, 1923. Made in U.S.A." |
