Ledger (a) published by the Arch Cunningham Co., Boise, Idaho, used for accounting by Joseph W. Cullen, a blacksmith in Eagle, Idaho. Written on the first page in the top right corner is the text "Opened 8/31/1917." Includes customer accounts, earnings, pricings, and expenditures from 1917 to 1922. The front and end pages of the ledger are doodled with Cullen's name, location, drawings, and other words. Enclosed in the ledger is a loose note on a 3 x 5-1/4" piece of newsprint paper (b) with calculations of the price of meat and a Certificate of Membership (c) for Joe Cullen to the American Red Cross signed by Cullen and dated Decemeber 23, 1917. |
